Residents of St. Claude enjoy access to a wide variety of quality health care services in their community and a convenient proximity to services in both Winnipeg (100 km) and Portage la Prairie (40 km). Many of the local services offered in the community are available through the St. Claude Health Centre, which features a 10-bed hospital, 18-bed personal care home and community health services including home care, public health and mental health. Acute care services at the St. Claude Health Centre are currently under curtailment; however, this site continues to provide waiting placement, palliative, respite and convalescent care.

The St. Claude Health Centre serves as a MBTelehealth site, providing teleconferencing for medical consults, meetings and education sessions. The personal care home, retirement manor and a well-organized home care program make St. Claude an ideal place for retirees. Based out of the health centre, the community-owned St. Claude and Haywood handivan provides transportation to clients requiring services.
