A Personal Care Home (PCH) provides 24-hour, facility-based care for people who are no longer able to manage or to safely live at home. There are 15 personal care homes located throughout Central Region (including contract corporations).
The goals of a PCH are to provide high quality care that:
- promotes the person’s independence
- supports cultural and spiritual needs
- maintains a friendly, homelike environment
- values the input, care and support of family members.
